Back in 2016, LALITA wasn't a business plan—it was a class project at the University of Oregon with one simple goal: spread a little kindness by sending positive greeting cards to strangers.
 
We started small, setting up tables at Portland craft fairs and connecting with people one card at a time. We had big dreams, a lot of hope, and no guarantee of where it would lead.
 
A decade later, that small idea has grown into something beyond what we could have imagined. Today, LALITA is a full fashion and lifestyle brand crafting leather handbags, daily totes, and the stationery that started it all.
